Dana Motors Introduces CNG-Powered Vehicles, Set To Revolutionise Nigerian Transportation

 Dana Motors Limited, the distributor of Kia in Nigeria said it is on a mission to transform transportation in Nigeria by unveiling the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles to the market. 

A statement by Mr. Jimoh Olawale, the Marketing Manager, Kia Nigeria said that this was in response to rising fuel costs and increasing vehicle expenses. 

The statement hinted that this move reflected Dana Motors Limited’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in Nigeria’s automotive sector by addressing the need for more cost-effective transportation. 

Having previously introduced Nigeria’s first electric vehicle, the Kia Soul, Dana Motors Limited is now set to introduce a range of high-efficiency CNG-powered vehicles, the statement said. 

The statement further quoted Mr. Francis Ogboro, Vice Chairman of Dana Group as saying that the company’s goal was to offer Nigerians innovative, eco-friendly, and budget-friendly automotive solutions

Ogboro emphasized that introducing CNG-powered vehicles perfectly aligned with the company’s vision to improve the quality of life for all Nigerians while addressing the rising cost of vehicle ownership. 

For Olu Tikolo, Vice President of Dana Motors Limited, having recognized the potential of CNG vehicles to transform public transportation, the company was dedicated to making transit more affordable and accessible.
