At the conclusion of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting in Abuja, Hadi Sirika, the minister of aviation, announced to media that the new airline, already named Nigeria Air, will take off shortly.
Prior to this, the carrier cleared the Air Transport Licence (ATL) barrier and was given permission to operate for five years, beginning on June 3, 2022 and ending on June 3, 2024.
