Jennie Martin was educated at Kings College London and the UK Open University. She started her career with the then British Rail, moving on to the Corporation of London, and finally ITS United Kingdom. She advised on the setting up of ITS Nigeria and maintains close ties with ITS Nigeria and the NITT. She ran ITS United Kingdom from 2004-2023 when she retired. She now chairs the Board of Trustees at Bus Users UK, is a Trustee of the Parliamentary Advisory Council for Transport Safety, and Honorary Secretary and Trustee of CILT International. Jennie is originally from Sweden but has lived in London, UK, for many years.
